Serving Opportunities

CARE Ministry

This ministry mainly focuses on the Care Portal which is an application that helps local social workers meet the needs of foster families. They also serve widows, shut-ins and/or sick individuals. This could be an in-person visit, phone call, letter/card, prayer, etc. This ministry also looks to fulfill needs such as handy work, grocery pickup and/or landscaping.

Senior VIP Ministry

This ministry is for senior adults who are looking to get out of the house for a day trip, brunch or special event to fellowship together outside of normal meeting times.

Widow Ministry

These volunteers seek to serve widows by offering a weekday lunch, paint party or movie night. Anything we can do to help are widows feel loved and cared for

Connections Team

One of the more vital pieces of all of our ministries is this team who is responsible for greeting & connecting on Sunday morning. The main goal is to make sure each person coming through the door is greeted with a smiling face and they know where to go & take their children to. This is a great opportunity to plug people into this class!

Prayer Ministry

Calling all prayer warriors! These believers are the backbone of our church praying over special needs in our church and our community. Whether it be a prayer walk or specific needs that are requested to be prayed for in private.

Hymn Singing Sundays

Every fifth Sunday at 6pm, this group meets in the sanctuary for hymn singing. Not only will you be singing hymns, but you explore the origin and meaning of these hymns. This is a casual gathering that looks to bring people together to praise God through hymns.

Worship Ministry

This team rehearses diligently to lead worship each Sunday for both services. We have rotations available for all positions: singing, electric guitar, bass guitar, keys & drums. This group is always seeking new members!

Tech Ministry

This group works behind the scenes every Sunday to help each service run smoothly. This includes controlling the slides, managing the stream, operating camera’s or running sound.

Hospitality Ministry

This ministry is perfect for introverts who want to serve behind the scenes. Each Sunday morning this team arrives at church around 8am to prepare the coffee & hot chocolate that is available in the Life Center.

Cleaning Ministry

This group will meet at the church on Saturday nights for the sole purpose of getting the church ready for Sunday morning. They will work along side of Luis (maintenance) as a helping hand to ensure the church is ready for Sunday morning.

Bereavement

This group of volunteers seeks to put together meals for funerals that happen at our church.

Church & Civics

As believers, it is important that our values & beliefs are reflected in our voting. This Group seeks to be the ears of the church to know what is going on in the world around us and how it directly or indirectly affects us. Their goal is to simply inform the church whether it be a simple election date reminder or issues that need church attention.

We are all gifted in one area or another. Our goal is for all of our members to be plugged in using their gifting to further the gospel and make disciples. If you see an area of service we need, please let us know! We are always looking to support and/or launch new ministries.
